Dr. Dennis Vriezema is co-founder and Managing Director of AV Chemistry. 

Within AV Chemistry he is responsible for the corporate strategy and for the research and development activities. The subject of his PhD in Supramolecular Chemistry at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, was microencapsulation of enzymes using polymersomes. Shortly after, he co-founded the contract research company Encapson where he fulfilled the role of Research Director. Then he made the switch to the R&D in the growing area of digital textile printing at SPGPrints.

He is an inventor on several patents and (co-)author of various scientific publications.

 David Asrian, MSc

He is co-founder and responsible for business development and marketing and sales within AV Chemistry. After his bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry, he studied Polymer Chemistry at the Radboud Univerisity in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. During his research, he worked on biodegradable polymersomes for drug delivery purposes and self-healing microcapsules to repair themselves in bone cement. David developed several new hydrophilic coatings and technologies to coat medical devices. Then he switched from medical coatings to technical textile coatings.

He is an inventor of a patentable invention.
